Best VR Music Game – Beat Saber

If Guitar Hero and Star Wars VR ever had children, it would probably look a lot like Beat Saber – our worthy winner of best VR Music Game. The player wields two coloured sabers and has to slash, cut and dodge approaching blocks in time with the music. Direction of cut, good rhythm and colour coordination of sabre to block will score you points.

Played in a virtual reality world, it offers great sound and superb visual effects to emphasize the rhythm. Although predominantly a single player game, it is still highly entertaining for spectators and they won’t have to wait long for their turn. It’s simple to play, offers multiple levels of difficulty and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews all round.
